Keyworth is a large affluent village located 6 miles South East of Nottingham. Surrounding villages include Tollerton, Plumtree, Edwalton and Stanton on the Wolds.
The magazine currently has a rising readership due to recent housing developments. The current distribution stands at 3700, we are expecting an increase to 4000 by the end of 2023.
The magazine was founded in 1990 by a Keyworth printer and remains a family business. A strength of the magazine is the engagement and contributions from local charities, clubs and organisations; meaning the bulk of the content is relevant, engaging and local. A key contributor is Keyworth Parish Council, who since the start of the magazine, have occupied the centre 8 pages, sharing all the events and attractions happening in the village.
Keyworth News is a free, trusted and reliable local resource that the villages look forward to receiving through their door each month. Many of the businesses who advertise with Keyworth News, use the magazine as their only or main channel of marketing.
Free copies of the Keyworth News are also available in the local library, selected shops, leisure centre and local sports and fitness centre.
Keyworth has an older demographic and for this generation, the Keyworth News is the way they stay connected to business services and local events. Keyworth News is proud of bridging the digital divide in Keyworth and remains committed to delivering a free printed copy to every home in the village.
We are also aware that people who have left the village, like to remain connected, so we have a full online versions of the magazine with interactive flip books, so browsing can easily be done digitally.
Keyworth News is supported by Facebook and Instagram pages. Advertisers benefit from business spotlighting and digital promotion on our social media channels.
